Landland’s ‘Mystery Tubes!’

Dan and Jes of Landland have offered up a series of ‘Mystery Tubes‘ — for a price of your choosing they will fill a tube with as much Landland products as they can. Everything in the Landland stock is up for the taking. They don’t take requests because that would kill the ‘mystery’ part of the of the package, but both Dan and Jes are incredibly sweet and generous, so you can expect to get more than you paid for.

The opening price on a tube is $75 with the maximum option going for $750.  Here’s what Landland’s Dan Black had to say on the different price points —

‘I’m not too sure how to answer this without feeling like I’m ruining any sort of surprise or faking some sort of Hard Science to it. With the $100 tubes, we aim for at least 8–10 “main things” in each one and then usually other “non-main things”. “Main things” WOULDN’T include scratch & dents or posters that are obviously overstock or anything like that…it’s all stuff that we’d be sad to hear someone threw away.

$200 tubes could be more main things, and/or digging into archive copies of things that we have to think hard about parting with, and/or original drawings or weird process things…beyond that, once things get into Serious Investment Trustfall Mode, we start thinking of it as packing up instant collections and making sure that we’re respectful of the investment that people are making in us, sight (relatively) unseen. Last year, somebody bought the toppest top dollar one ($750), and we sent him stuff all year long.’

Since they haven’t said exactly what will go in the tubes, check out their work to get an idea of what treasures Dan and Jes are sitting on and go HERE to order your very own ‘Mystery Tube.’
