Jonathan Burton’s ‘Salad Days’ for Monty Python Exhibit

On Friday May 27th, UK based group Color + Noun will hold their opening reception for their exhibition of artwork inspired by Monty Python. One of the pieces that will debut at the event is illustrator Jonathan Burton‘s take on the skit ‘Salad Days,’ in which the troupe imagine Sam Peckinpah‘s adaptation of the Julian Slade / Dorothy Reynolds musical of the same name. Burton’s illustration captures the hardcore whimsy that Monty Python cultivated into a comedic legacy.

Color + Noun‘s gallery event is fully licensed and endorsed by Monty Python and features new work from Alan Campbell, Raid71,  Paul Shipper, Phil Morgan, Andrew Swainson, and more.
