In the work of Portland based painter Brin Levinson mankind is gone. Civilizations built — abandoned. The creatures that still populate the empty cities of Levinson’s world are not some sad reminder of a forgotten apocalypse. They are the survivors. The new kings. The buildings themselves are the remnants of a society that failed.
Chicago’s Galerie F has released a limited edition 16″ x 20″ giclee print of Levinson’s latest painting, ‘Meridian Crow‘ — the print is available from the Galerie F Store in limited number as well as the original painting. This is the second collaboration from Levison and Galerie F, with the first being the long sold painting ‘Elevated Souls,’ with another promised in the future.
