On May 7th Grey Matter Art will expand their print catalog with illustrator Timothy Pittides‘ ‘American Psycho,’ a dip into the darkness that is Bret Easton Ellis‘ 1991 novel.
Pittides works in the world of Ellis’ novel, shining a light on the demons and deranged neurosis of its narrator Patrick Bateman. This isn’t Christian Bale as Hollywood’s Bateman, but Pittides’ version of the yuppie scum culled from Ellis’ text. ‘American Psycho’ is a purging of the author’s pitch black into power suits and currency.
