San Francisco’s Bash Contemporary has brought together artists Robert Bowen, Dave Correia, and Caitlin Hackett for their upcoming show ‘Dark Matters.’
‘Dark Matters’ showcases an inspired grouping of artists that play and wander around just that, the darkened corners of a slightly demented world.
Bowen, Correia, and Hackett each share an affinity for the twisted deconstruction of organisms — there’s a lushness to their work, a fleshy wetness on each canvas that’s an absolute thrill to see.
‘Dark Matters’ opens on Saturday May 31st with the opening reception going from 6PM – 9PM.
