Dark Hall Mansion has released the full imageof the next poster in their well-crafted ‘Seminal Film Series’ — Laurent Durieux‘s take on the 1925 cinema classic ‘The Phantom of the Opera.’
The romance and high drama of the story of the phantom are seeped into this Durieux design. Laurent has created a string of amazing posters and this ‘Seminal Film Series‘ that Dark Hall Mansion has put together is shaping up to be an incredibly thoughtful and sophisticated curated collection.
The first entry in the series was also by Laurent Durieux for the 1927 Fritz Lang masterpiece ‘Metropolis.’
Both editions of the ‘Metropolis’ prints are long since sold out and are now highly sought after on the after market. The same will happen with ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ posters, but there will be a few lucky collectors out there with the beginnings of a series of modern masterworks from Laurent Durieux.
The ‘Phantom’ posters hit the virtual marketplace over at Dark Hall Mansion on Thursday June 6th at 10:30AM PST. Check out their site HERE.
The full reservoir of Durieux’s gallery can be seen at his site HERE.
