Austin based designer and printmaker Kyle Carter works under the banner of CogDut, and in the short few years since starting his business he’s created gig posters for the likes of GZA, Death Grips, High on Fire, Future Islands, Dan Deacon, and more.
Carter is an artist whose work is a dense and hypnotic combination of astute design and spontaneous free-thought meditative patterns.
Carter has released a limited edition t-shirt that he describes as —
“These were screen printed using water based discharge ink, which essentially dyes the fibers of the shirt, rather than laying ink on top of the shirt. This produces a print which has zero texture and doesn’t crack over time. I have prewashed the shirts, so they are ready to be worn right away and will not shrink. They are printed on a soft yet sturdy 100% cotton Anvil shirt. Also available in women’s sizes.”
