UK based print publisher Black Dragon Press announced that their next series of prints will be Nicolas Delort’s ‘Classical Series.’ Delort’s series is a set of three 18″ x 27″ screenprints, each taking inspiration from a different piece of classical music — Franz Schubert’s ‘Die Winterreise,’ Sergei Rachmaninoff’s ‘The Isle of the Dead‘ and the first reveal in the series draws from J.S. Bach’s ‘Goldberg Variations.’ Delort and Black Dragon Press have taken on a wonderful project with these posters — it’s a thrill to see these classically inspired works be put alongside their other modern pop culture prints.
