Ruben Ireland’s ‘Hyperdusk’ Coming to Atomica Gallery

On Thursday June 25th UK artist Ruben Ireland will reveal his first solo international exhibition ‘Hyperdusk‘ at Atomica Gallery in London. The works on display will all be single edition prints, another first for Ireland who’s pieces are usually available as limited editions of 10 or more.

Hyperdusk‘ continues the growth Ireland saw in his 2014 show ‘Out of Body,’ exploring new facets of female portraiture. Ireland’s women are crafted of monochromatic digital slates and various media. There’s a sense of myth to the female portraits he creates, they are of this world but also another. His work beautifies the quiet and the still — his petite women cast as warriors, arcane mystics. Strange and haunting to their core.
