A Brief Look: The Art of Tomer Hanuka

By Chris Jalufka | 04.22.2013

Tomer Hanuka is an illustrator and cartoonist from New York by way of Israel. He’s illustrated for Time Magazine, The New Yorker, Playboy, and Rolling Stone Magazine as well as book cover illustrations and it’s easy to see why. His images are clean. Easily read.

They breathe off the page.

I’m drawn to the simplicity of his work. The clarity. Even when his illustrations appear chaotic Hanuka still maintains a fluidity in design that is inspiring to see.
